Department:  Information Services

Qualifications:
Associates degree in computer networking or computer information systems or direct and extensive experience relevant to the position, required
Minimum of one (1) year of experience installing and administering server systems, preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of experience configuring and managing Cloud Technologies, Google Platform, and network/wireless systems, preferred 
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all District stakeholders
Ability to perform duties with accuracy and speed under the deadline pressures and time constraints
Ability to analyze and problem solve
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to be flexible, prioritize, and perform other tasks as assigned

Reports to:  Director of Technology
Job Description:
The Computer Technician works directly with the Technology Director and the Information Services team to provide technical support for all technology platforms utilized in the district.  This position will require a vast array of skills including but not limited to: Google Platform, Amazon Web Services, Network Switching and Routing, Wireless networking, Microsoft Deployment services, Website design and Security.

Collaborate with the Director of Technology to identify department and district project needs involving educational technology
Customer service interactions with all students, staff, and administration
Maintain knowledge of educational programs and systems
Work order completion with emphasis on timeliness and satisfaction

Technical troubleshooting and issue management
Ability to keep up with current technologies and be a self-learner
Communication
Perform other tasks or responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Technology or his/her designee

Salary Range: $32,000-$40,000.00
